I was just thinking, maybe our topic for this week can be self-realization.
In many faiths or cultures, it’s approached differently and so, I am sure everyone is bound to have a perception of some kind. So maybe we can talk about how we all see it.
Like for example, this morning, I was speaking to a senior self-realized meditator from Samarpan in India about guiding our discussion and at some point, he mentioned a statement I’ve heard so many times but never looked at in this way.
He mentioned Jesus Christ calling himself the son of God and how this actually entwines with the eastern concept of being self-realized which is as being both the observer and the observed rolled into one or being both the element of the creator and the creation.
He also mentioned many of the steps or processes involved in being self-realized. Like it’s also about leaving your ego of existence. Or hearing the celestial sound that’s always there (the west call it B flat and the east call it Om) and so much more.
Anyhow, I look forward to hearing everyone’s opinions.
Swati
