FOCUS FOR THE WEEK – “Whenever you remember me you’ll find me beside you…”

“There is no difference of gender in the spiritual field. Both men and women have equal opportunities. A person who lies on the doctor’s operating table is a patient; it is not a man or a woman. The corpse which is taken to the crematorium for cremation is only a dead body. It is not a man or a woman for the watchman there.

The Sadguru’s state is similar. The person who is doing ‘Namaskar’ and bowing before him is only a soul for him, not a man or a woman. One will have to become only a soul to get connected to Paramatma; and one will have the awareness of being a soul when you join collectivity. Therefore you should always stay connected to the collectivity.

You are afraid and feel insecure only when you are isolated because of your ego. Always remember that I am with you at every moment; and I am not alone, I am with a collectivity of hundreds and thousands of sadhaks.

I am with you at every moment, but you are with me only for a few moments. Repeat the Guru-mantra thrice and experience that I am present with you in the form of consciousness. Always remember that you are never alone; my chitta is always on you. The mother’s chitta is always on her child and I am your mother. So how can my chitta leave you and wander here and there?

Whenever you remember me you’ll find me beside you.”

Personal Message From Maria…

Yesterday I had the chance to attend a small Samarpan gathering at a disciple’s house where nine of us met to do meditation, share some lovely food and above all enjoy each others’ delightful company and conversation. Amongst us was Jaya Pisavadia who is spending some weeks in the UK as she lives in Dandi ashram for most of the year, so after we all sat down forming a small circle around her we listened entranced to the stories and unique episodes she had to share with us.

If it is true that “when disciples meet in the name of the master, the master is also present there” that is exactly what we have experienced. Swamiji’s “spiritual” presence could clearly be felt in the room as the energy became really strong right from the beginning. Despite the small number of disciples, the sense of collectivity was immense and by the time we left, we were fully charged with pure vibrations of joy, happiness and lightness.

Yesterday’s gathering, much like our “weekly online meditations” prove the adage that Samarpan is not about quantity but quality. It is a real privilege and a blessing to be part of such family of like-minded people and amazing souls. Jai Baba Swami.

I have just felt that energy by reading your experiences guy. I bet I was sitting there with you with my chitta! ;)) The more we stay in the present and surrendered, the more we will remain connected to Universal Energy, and a gathering of souls who meditate and are staying in the present creates an amazing loving and pure energy! We have the chance to remain connected to this pure energy just by literally… ‘staying connnected’. Last night here in Peru we watched the Nabhi chakra dvd and meditators understood this as Swamiji explained in detail that Samarpan Meditation was about staying connected. We need to let go of the ego of wanting and having ‘to do’, and allow for our true nature to flow… I miss you guys! but we are always connected ;))
