‘God created Mauritius first, then heaven,’ Mark Twain famously said. Lucky enough to call this enchanting island home but are unable to join the weekly UK meditation session? Worry not! At JCO, we strive to ensure that members from all over the world can join collective Samarpan meditation online.
Ey, ki maniere? 🙂
Following the success of weekly Samarpan meditation sessions, hosted from the UK every Wednesday… we are now starting an additional session which will be presented to you all the way from Mauritius time zone based countries!
We welcome everyone, from anywhere in the world to join us for fun, engaging and informative chats on all meditation related aspects.
Those who are unfamiliar with this might be asking ‘what is all this about?’
It is an online meditation session at 8pm Mauritius Time (which is 4PM UK Time) on THURSDAYS just like on Samarpan online on Wednesday nights but in a different time zone for people who either cannot join due to meditating at a late hour or if you have missed meditation at the center in your country.
You can check what is in your country here http://www.timeanddate.com/
See you all soon!
With lots of love and light,
Rajnee/Yanishta Gopaul (Presenter of a Day)
– The JCO Team
PS: share these times and JoinCollectivityOnline.com with others. If you are unsure of anything, please let us know. ANY questions or suggestions are welcome!

Some tips on Surrendering…(after listening to some bits of the 31st May session)
Do not expect to achieve a state of surrender. Do not wait for the day it will happen. Just know that when the moment comes, your soul will be there to enjoy it…..
YOU cannot surrender. But Swamiji can, and will, surrender for you, if you just let him. You just have to SURRENDER YOUR SURRENDER TO HIM.
My words to Swamiji, a after a few weeks of regular practice of Samarpan Meditation (Anusthan 2012) and only beginning to understand what Surrender meant, were: “I know I will not reach Surrender ever, not in this life time, because my Ego is too big, so I’m not even going to bother trying”. And literally forgot about the concept, until the day I realized I had been experiencing it for a while and hand’t even noticed.
If I did it, anyone can do it, the big trick is: I didn’t do anything!!!!! I did not have the desire to Surrender because my mind was telling me that I would never be able to do it.
And this was a trigger: I accepted as my intellectual certainty that I would never reach Surrender.
And once Surrender happens, it is for good. It’s like taking a free fall, once you’ve jumped you cannot go back to the plane. If it feels like it is not there anymore, it wasn’t Surrender…
In the same way, there aren’t “steps to Surrender”. It’s a one step jump. You are either flying or not flying, there is nothing in between. It might help thinking that right now you are running very fast on the track, and that at the end of it you will jump….
And how do you “know” that you are in a surrendered state? The same way that you “know” that you love your mother….
And if you have doubts (do you doubt that you love your mother?) about if Surrender happened already, will that doubtful state make it disappear? No. If you meditate, your mind will go back to a state of clarity that allows you to fully acknowledge it.

Thank you so very much Gabriela- for listening, and commenting here. It does shed a lot of light for many… very helpful insights. Thanks again for such personal and intense sharing… like you said, the key is to just go on meditating, the rest will happen…When you look back, you know it has happened.
When you have jumped already, is it wise to ponder over how, in what ways was or is the jump happening, or how best could have ‘jumped’ instead of enjoying that feeling when the jump is already set in motion…
