About: It’s a big collectivity day, many meditators come together to celebrate this Indian festivity. It’s an opportunity for us to join with our chitta, our minds and connect to this strong energy gathering of souls.

Ganesha day in Babadham starts on the 22nd of September and finishes on the 28th. All the cleaning start in BabaDham, then the decorators come a day before & decorate the hall. Ganesha is welcomed on the 21st evening with fresh flowers; puja is done, aarti. Then next morning Swamiji & family are welcomed. Everyday morning & evening puja happens. Aarti & one sweet dish is offered everyday to Ganesha, this sweet is cooked by Guruma or her daughter-in-law Aditi. There is one special sweet dish called MODAK is done on 1st day & last day, it is done from fresh coconut.
On last day all the sadhaks from all the centres from all over India come, they have to register from their centre so very few get a chance. Swamiji invites the village sadhaks where he resides (Mogar). For villager this is very auspious day, it is very well organised by our Aajivan children & all other sadhaks.
On last day we start DARSHAN, everyone stands in a queue. It starts from noon and carries on until 9.00 at night. Everyone is allowed to come inside for darshan; they walk in, have darshan, walk to the table where Guruma is standing with a boxes of sweets, she blesses everyone with a sweet, they walk out, have parsad (food) then go home with that beautiful energy .Swamiji is in BabaDham but he sits upstairs in his room clearing us all with beautiful energy. Guruma usually starts for an hour, then she takes rest, then Anurag & Aditi come, then Ambreesh & Sashwati come so as a family they carry on this until night. During this event is a very powerful cleansing is done. Sadhaks clear everything & go home by 10.00pm.
